I am a husband and father of three beautiful girls. I am a metallurgical engineer by profession. Over the previous four years of my life I have lost 75 pounds. Throughout this journey, I have learned what discipline and consistency can do and how I can apply it to all facets of my life. I wanted to create this blog to help provide the blueprints to others that want to make that change in their life but are not sure how to get started.
My Story
There I was in 2017, a balding overweight father of three in constant pain in my ankles, knees, and emotionally. I was not proud of who I’ve become and knew I wasn’t the same man through my wife’s eyes. I was always giving my all to my daughters thinking as long as I’m always present and making sure they were completely taken care of, that’s all that was needed. I figured now that I am a father of three, I can just settle being the average overweight dad that I see everywhere. I then looked myself in the mirror one day and noticed my badly thinning hair and told myself enough is enough. I need to make a change.
I got to work. I decided to shave my head and not care what any one thought. I then got a gym membership and started working out. I found the most important thing through everything was not motivation, but discipline. I found that having discipline through everything was the answer. This applied to getting to the gym no matter what, tough workouts, and diet.
I began my journey at 285 lbs. I am now at 210 lbs. I am in the best shape of my life so far and will always keep pushing.
My Mission
I wanted to start this blog in order to help those in the same position I started in. Those who are lost and want to make a change but are not sure where to start. Everything starts with your mindset and I’m here to help you develop that Never Settle Mindset! It can be done no matter how busy you are.
